The original building is from the early 20th century and was formerly the Dominion Fish & Fruit Company office building. Much of the five-storey building’s original charm has been preserved through its renovations.
The hotel expanded in March 2001, adding 20 rooms to the existing 40.
The hotel’s main floor lounge features a cappuccino bar and fireplace, surrounded by sumptuous seating areas.
Conference rooms feature an abundance of natural light and are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The lounge and Espace D can also be transformed to serve as a reception hall for cocktail parties.
Guest rooms and common areas feature original art by local artists.
There is no restaurant within the hotel but a full Epicurean Experience package is offered through the hotel with nearby restaurant, Laurie-Raphael. This includes a seven course meal at this renowned Québec City restaurant, followed by a Laurie-Raphael signature liqueur with dessert and a special package of fine treats to enjoy afterwards.
