Location

Situated on the Toronto Pearson International Airport site, the hotel is adjacent to terminals 1 and 3, and near the Viscount long-term parking lot, at the end of the LINK train line. This choice location allows guests to easily access airport facilities and the LINK train ensures, every five minutes, a direct link to the terminals.

Hotel Affiliation

Groupe Germain Hospitality, a Canadian family business with its headquarters in Quebec City, owns the ALT banner of hotels. ALT Hotels are stylish and trendy establishments that blend comfort, intelligent design and an innovative concept. Their no-frills approach to services allows them to offer a unique atmosphere at a reasonable rate. In Québec, the business owns and operates two ALT Hotels, one in Québec City and the other in Montréal (Quartier DIX30).

Architecture and design

Lemay Michaud Architecture Design, in collaboration with engineering firm Génécor Experts-Conseils.

The hotel was built using energy efficient techniques and consists of prefabricated rooms, a brand new construction concept. Renova, in Plessisville, Québec, constructs the prefabricated rooms.

Overview

With 13 floors and 150 rooms, ALT Hotel Toronto Pearson is the unique alternative to conventional hotels. ALT Hotel Toronto Pearson offers remarkable design and impeccable service to its clients by focusing on the essential elements that make a hotel stay memorable and comfortable.

Hotel Features

In the main lobby, guests can enjoy a coffee as well as areas for reading and relaxation. A fitness room is available on the 13th floor.

More than 8000 ft² are devoted to business meetings. Some rooms are equipped with 50-inch plasma televisions. An architectural staircase links the ground level to the two first floors where the majority of the rooms can be found.

Rooms

Of the 150 hotel rooms, 126 include a queen bed and 24 include two queen beds.
The immense windows maximize natural light.
The walls are panelled with hardwood.
The ceilings are 2.9 m high (9 feet 6 inches).
