Chez Victor launches “The Niagara Wine Road – 100% VQA Pure Pleasure”
Series of winery partnerships offers guests the best of Niagara food and wine here in Toronto
Continuing in its endeavor to showcase the crème de la crème of local food and wine, Chez Victor restaurant at Hôtel Le Germain Toronto announces a new Niagara winery partnership series “The Niagara Wine Road – 100% VQA Pure Pleasure.”
Between March and May 2008, Chez Victor will collaborate with four top VQA-rated Niagara wineries and their restaurants to offer its guests a taste of the best food and wine from Ontario’s wine country.

The Niagara Wine Road initiative is led by Chez Victor’s executive chef, David Chrystian, and restaurant manager and sommelier, Mark Moffat. Together, they will work with each of the wineries’ chefs and wine makers to create exclusive menus with complementary wine offerings that highlight unique characteristics of the region.
“For more than a year now, we have been using our seasonal menus at Chez Victor to feature more locally grown fare,” says Chrystian. “Collaborating with other Ontario chefs who share the same desire to focus on our own region is a great way to offer our guests a unique dining experience.”
For the duration of each nine-day partnership, guests at Chez Victor will be able to choose from a special menu created by the featured winery’s chef paired with the estate’s wines. The guest chef and wine maker will be on-site at Chez Victor on the first Friday and Saturday of each series to launch their menu.
